My white diamond went yellowish orange in 6 months. What can cause diamond discoloration?

I've had my ring professionally cleaned several times. It still looks yellowish, and it wasn't that way when I got it. Was an I color, now an L-M color in my amateur opinion.

I would take the ring back! Even if you bought a lower grade diamond it should not turn like that. The cheaper the diamond it will be less clearer and less color but no diamond should turn yellow or orange. Even if it's past the return date you should get an exchange for their lack of quality.
