There are various treatments depending on the type of mold. Often, natural treatments work as well as commercial insecticides. Treatments include application of wettable sulfur for powdery mildew and frequent washing for sooty mold. Additionally, fertilization and proper pruning can increase a tree's ability to fight off mold on it's own.
