you need to get the dog examined ASAP. It could have glaucoma a very painful condition. Also some other sort of trauma. eye trauma is very painful for a dog. could also have a tumor pushing at the back of the eye. please get it checked.

This is most likely a result of an untreated thyroid disorder and could possibly be a cyst resting on the glands themselves.

It could be due to a condition called Extraocular Myositis(Polymyositis). What this is when the dogs extraocular muscles in the back of his eye become allergic/inflamed causing the bulging effect of the eye(s). I would check with your vet but some owners have been known to use Benadryl, while others get Rimadyl or Prednisone, but check with your Vet.

That could be caused from a few different things your dog could have been stung or bitten by a bug or it has something in it's eye that needs removed.

Your dog probably has a disease or an injury that is pushing the eyeball from behind. Pressure behind the eye can cause blindness. Take your dog to the veterinarian ASAP.

Your dog could have an eye infection or there could be something that got caught in his eye or punctured it. Eye injuries can be serious so you should take the dog to the vet. If the eye is infected it needs to be treated otherwise the dog might lose the eye.

To answer this question, you need to give more information. What breed is the dog? Some dogs such as chihuahuas, boston terriers, etc. naturally have bulging eyes. Others may have eye trauma or skull trauma that is causing swelling to push the eye out. If the bulging is due to trauma, seek a veterinarian immediately.

Could be some fluid is building up behind the eye and causeing pressure. Could be from a parasite or from allergies. Could be that he has been in a fight with another animal and caused it to pop out of its socket.

Your dog's eye could be bulging because it has a tumor in its brain or it could be an allergy to some kind of food. Take it to the doctor.
