My Cyberhome DVD is saying "no disk". Can you help me with troubleshooting?

The laser on the inside which reads the DVD's probably has dust on the lense. If you can get into it to clean it, this will probably fix it. If it is still under warrenty or new, I would just take it back to the store or get it replaced.

The most likely cause of this is that the DVD player's lens is dirty. The first thing to do would be to use a cleaning kit available from most electronics retail stores. You should also listen to ensure the DVD disc is clean and that it is actually spinning.

It may be that the lens is dirty or smudged over. You should try a DVD Lens Cleaner disc in the player and see if that fixes it.
