You can have a wisdom tooth extraction at any age after you develop them, but in most cases they become problematic before a person reaches thirty. Some dentists may have a minimum age limit of when they feel comfortable removing them. After thirty, the chances of someone needing them removed are slim to none.

Wisdom tooth extraction is ok at any age when the risk of keeping the tooth is great. In many instances, the tooth may be only partially errupted. This causes difficulty in brushing and food to become lodged underneath the gum which leads to cavities on the tooth. Once there is a cavity, extreme pain will usually follow.

there are different school of thoughts in dentistry but in most of the cases it is advisable to extract it. generally wisdom teeth erupt after 16 to 18 years and it may cause pain in may cases if they are not in proper alignment or may cause pericoronitis. wisdom tooth can be taken out at any age in that case.

It is okay at any age, after age 18. Your jaw is still developing and you do not want to break any of the soft cartilage, causing deformations to occur.
