Is there such a thing as an underwater mushroom?

Yes. There is a soft coral that comes in many many different colors, size and textures that aquarium hobbyist call mushroom. The multiply at the speed of mushroom and have the same appearance as the mushroom you see on land.

yes there is. mushrooms are easily to grow anywhere. just have a moist surface and they definitely grow. underwater mushroom can found in non-salted water form type. in rivers or lakes.

Not that I know of but you could probably contact people that grow them and get them to send you something on how to do it if they exhist and not only that if you are planning to grow and eat them you will need to make sure that they are not poinsonous for consumption.

Actually there is a underwater mushroom discovered in the Rouge River in Oregon in 2007. It is the first that has ever been found. It is closely related to regular small mushrooms.
