Given the intensity of the training, most medical school attendees are in their early twenties to late thirties. However, some physicians went to school in their forties and even fifties. I would guess that your chances are reduced considerably after your thirties, but that medical school shouldn't be ruled out until your sixties.

There is no age limit on applying to medical school. The admissions board will be concerned if your schooling is outdated, which will have an affect on your MCATS. If you are a medical professional (RN, Rad Tech, PT, RT, etc. ) your position would be strengthened.

No, there is not, and you GO for it! Legally, no school can discriminate based on age. If you feel they are, please pursue it. The medical field needs dedicated individuals, I feel that if you are matriculating later in life, you have direction and determination. There is often financial aid and assistance available to you as a non-traditional student.
