I believe it is compatible with Windows 98 they are several operating systems that it is compatible with it also requires minimum system requirement like Intel Pentium, Celeron, or a compatible processor.
That sounds like one of the older printers and Windows stopped supporting windows 98 so it might not work anymore but if it is older they might still have there drivers if not look on the internet for the drivers. You can usually find them fairly easy just type that into google
