Pedia-Lax is completely safe and effective in treating hard tummies in children. It is mild enough to be safe, yet strong enough to do its job. And best of all is that it tastes great!

Whether Pedia-Lax is safe or not really depends on the body. For the most part, Pedia Lax should be safe. It is a type of medicine that softens the stools by having the intestines hold more water. Another factor is in how you use the medication. If you use it in the way prescribed, you should be safe.

Pedia-Lax is, essential, a fiber supplement that is marketed towards the pediatric population. Although fiber itself is typically harmless. Additionally, the human GI tract may actually become dependent on these bulk laxatives if given for an extended period of time. Please use only for the treatment of constipation.

There are multiple kinds of Pedia-Lax with different mechanisms of action, but all are based on common constipation relief techniques. Pedia-Lax products are safe when used as directed. They should not be used on a regular (ie, daily) basis and if they don't seem effective, consult a pediatrician. Ask your doctor if Pedia-Lax will interact with medications your child takes.

This product contains senna. Senna has been used in the treatment of constipation. Anyway, it has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or purity. Possible side effects include allergic reactions. Less serious side effects are: abdominal cramping, diarrhea, or discoloration of the urine.

Many doctors recommend Pedia-Lax for children with constipation problems. Like any laxative, you should not get in the habit of constantly using it.
