Is Neosporin ointment good for all cuts and abrasions?

It is good for abrasions and minor cuts. If you have a deep cut you should have your physician take a look at it.

It's an anti-infective and aids in healing cuts, scrapes, scratches, and all types of skin abrasions. I've even used it on my cuticles.

It is only good for use on small cuts and minor abrasions and burns. It is not recommended for use on larger cuts and burns because it will hinder the healing process by keeping the wound too moist. Too much of the ointment can actually trap germs in the wound instead of getting rid of them.

Neosporin ointment is not recommended for deep puncture wounds because wounds need air circulation to breath and heal. The ointment impedes the flow of air inside a deep cut, which can increase the risk of infection. Neosporin is best used for minor skin abrasions and small cuts.

Generally speaking any antibiotic ointment is good for all cuts and abrasions. As with all medication and treatments there are exceptions. If the wound size is fairly large your doctor may advise against using the ointment the same advice would apply in cases of allergies to the medication.

Neosporin and any other triple antibiotic ointment are good for most cuts and abrasions. However, it should only be applied topically and never taken internally as that could cause unwanted issues and would be ineffective for treating a wound. Also, it should not be used for burns or deep cuts.

Neosporin is an antibiotic ointment. You should use it only when recommended by a professional. In most cases you just need to wash with water and sopa small cuts and abrasions, using a desinfectant after cleaning. If you need to be careful using Neosporin if you ever have had allergic reactions to Neomycin, a component of Neosporin.

Neosporin contains three different antibiotics, polymyxin B, bacitracin, and neomycin As long as you aren't allergic, it can be used on all supperficial cuts and abrasions.

Neosporin is intended to treat small and minor cuts, abrasions and burns. Serious wounds, serious burns or puncture wounds are not intended to be treated with neosporin. Neosporin is an antibiotic cream which can clean out and help a wound heal faster. If you have a serious condition or a rash, such as poison ivy, don't use it.

i have a cut from acne near my unibrow, i have used neosporin for the last 5 days it got smaller but still it isnt full healed what else can i use?
