Thirty-six states do NOT have laws that prohibit this, but most states are working on laws to ban this. Do not leave your children alone in the car!!! It doesn't matter if it's against the law or not. Your children could die if they got too hot and they could get injured while alone. Take them with you.

It is illegal to leave children under the age of 13 in a car unattended. The reasoning is that they might not be savvy enough to get out of the car and come inside if the car gets too hot.

yes because it is dangersous for children to be left alone. There are many dangers for the child left unprotected, the environment and other people. Children alone are vulnerable to being overheated or kidnapped by a stranger. Therefore the law mandates that parents supervise their children at all times, and take them inside with them.

Leaving a child alone in the car is against the law in several states, but not EVERY state... however it is unsafe to leave your child alone in the car regardless.

Yes it is. While you are wherever you maybe at the child is put into danger during that time. Your child could be kidnapped during the time you are gone.
