Gymnastics is not part of the required physical education curriculum but some parts of it may find its way into physical education courses as a way to stretch and limber up. It is a fairly dangerous activity and is often avoided, however. Some schools offer classes that are specifically about gymnastics.

Gymnastics is not part of the required physical education curriculum, but many teachers do include it. Gymnastics should be taught by someone that understand how to teach gymnastics to reduce the change of injury to students.

Unless your child goes to a fancy Private School most of the time Gymnastics are not a part of the curriculum. Schools are loosing more and more funding by the day and are starting to cut out things like that.
