Heartburn and indigestion have many causes. Gaviscon Advance helps by creating a barrier between stomach contents and your esophagus. It's very effective at reducing discomfort in some but not all cases. Try it for at least a week or two before deciding. Always see your doctor for a complete diagnosis.

It may very well be for you. Every patient has their own set of symptoms and circumstances. What might work for one may not work for someone else. Consider also what other medications you are on.

Gaviscon Advance is a medication used for heartburn. It is effective in the short term relief of symptoms, it does not solve the problem completely.
