Depends. The offers that you get in the mail are the best offers that you'll see from them. Once you become a member the deals aren't so sweet. But, some people have an appreciation for the selection that Columbia House offers. Others like to buy CDs with their own free will.

No, because you have to buy at least four cds from them within a 3 year period and the cds are usually priced much higher than normal retail prices.
