Cal Ripken Youth Baseball is a league that is just like little league. It is still coached and run by volunteers, and it depends on who the coaches are. You should talk to the coaches first hand and see if they have a good baseball knowledge.

Yes. The coaches are volunteer just like you do in little league. Kids will be taught the basics of baseball, but now a days private lessons are needed if you want your son to become a good ball player. Also, travel ball teams is where the best youth baseball is at. The best coaching and competition is in travel baseball.

Along with little league baseball, Cal Ripken Youth Baseball is a great place for kids to learn how to play the wonderful game. Cal Ripken was one of the greatest plyers of all time, and he is also a great instructor.

Yes the Cal Ripkin Youth Baseball organization is an extremely well run program. There is a genuine care and intrest to make better ball players.
