Yes I think it would be a great way to make money. You could get some good tenants, and they would help you do things. If they paid good it would really benefit you greatly with extra income, once you paid off all the expenses you had to make to turn it into an apartment.

Yes, it would be a good way to make money, but you will need to be sure that you can afford the upfront costs involved in adding an apartment to your home. You also have to decide if you are willing to be a landlord once it is ready.
