Is a push mower hard to push?

I want to get one.

Push mowers are produced without an engine, with a gasoline engine and with power drive. The easiest to push would be the gasoline-powered mower with power drive. The hardest to push would be a mechanical mower in which the blades are put into motion by you pushing the mower.

No, they have a self-propel feature (does not mean it will move by itself), that allow for the mower to "glide" rather having to really push the mower, these are better suited for smaller yards though, as it will take longer to mow a yard with a push mower.

If you want an easy going push mower you should go with a self propelled. The self propelled can go its own speed so all you have to do is steer it in the right direction.
