In a job interview what is a good way to go about explaining your strengths and weaknesses?

For your strengths, talk about job responsibilities you enjoy and excel at. For "weaknesses", let it be an "open ended" statement that makes the "weakness" actally a "strength" - example: "one of my weaknesses is I don't know how to say no because I always want to help everyone"...

Explain about how you completed projects, led a team or brought in a project under budget. These are strengths that you can modify for any position. For weaknesses, always be positive. For example, say I sometimes am disorganized but am always improving my organizational skills.

A major strength is experience in the field you are applying for. When bringing up weaknesses, put a positive spin on it, mentioning what you are doing to improve.

Never state a weakness that would prevent an employer from hiring you. If possible, give a weakness that is actually a strength, such as so attentive to detail that it took longer to complete projects. Give strengths that are part of the job description.

In a job interview, the best policy is not to mention any weaknesses. However, do not hold back when speaking about your strengths. Interviews are not a place for modesty!
