employment

If I was asked to resign, what are my chances of finding a new job?

I was asked to resign from my job 3 years ago, and I haven't found a job since. Do I put that job on my job application or is it better to leave it blank?

Faced with probation or voluntary resignation, I resigned. Unemployed for three months I secured a temporary position, and soon thereafter permanent employment. All the while I had that first job on my resume. While my time there ended negatively I had positive and useful experiences there. When asked I explained why I left, but not that I was forced to.

It is better to not put that down unless asked why you are not at that job anymore. It really depends on why you were asked to resign though.
