Question by  epiphany (1)

If a judge and a lawyer were together on a 17-day trip last year, is it a conflict for them to be working on the same case?

Both say it was a Bar conference, but there is no mention of a conference on the itinerary.

If they were with a large group (hundreds/thousands), it's not a big deal. If they were vacationing alone, it is. Speak to the attorney on the other side.

The nature of the trip determines if there is a conflict. If it was a conference with hundreds of attendess: no. Just the two of them: that's a problem.
