I have mites crawling around my toilet area, what should I do?

House mites love warm temperatures and high humidity, therefore, the bathroom would provide this very environment. Dust/bed mites feed on shed human skin scales; the bathroom is perfect for this, too. Vacuum regularly and keep floors clean using bleach/water or a germ-killing cleaner such as Lysol. Reduce humidity level and keep ventilation going.

Since mites are difficult to catch, the best form is to close the area and get a specific miticide to kill mites from a local supermarket. After that clean and vacuum the house floor frequently for best control.

Many mites can bite and distrub skin of humans. The first step is to identify the type of mites you have. The next step is to use a pesticide that will eliminate you type of mite.
