You need to let it go. Your prior relationship is over and she has moved to someone new. She will not be interested, and it will ruin any friendship.

In my opinion, it depends on who ditched who. If it was a peaceful separation, there is a possibility (provided she doesn't have anyone yet). In your case, as John said, you need to let it go. There are other complications to it.

Tell her you've tried to move on. I told my ex, "I woke up the next day and realized the plans for the rest of my life are gone. "
