A chiropractor can often fix a pinched nerve by prescribing some muscle relaxation pills which will help alleviate the tension. They can also work out the area through massage and stretching to alleviate the pressure that is causing the pinched nerve, thus healing the pain fairly quickly. This should take a few visits.

A "pinched nerve" is usually caused by a subluxation of the spine or a herniated disc. A chiropractor can exam the spine and alignment and can manipulate the spine if a subluxation is present.

Your chiropractor should first run an x-ray to determine there is not underlying reason that your nerve is pinched. If there is no problem adjustment to you back might help.
