I think a good color would a bright primary color, such as yellow or red. Use a print with several colors if your curtains don't have too much design.

If a solid color is your preference, a deep jewel toned color such as plum or violet would be in keeping with the dominant colors. A pastel color is not in keeping with the bold colors already present.

Choose a rug with a bright base color, perhaps in a red or even royal blue color. Make sure it has greens and blacks to coordinate well with the room.
