The best way to do any body work is to completely sand the entire car as you will have to replace the paint on the car anyway. After that the bonding agent or fiberglass should be applied and sanded even. You should take your time making sure the fiberglass is smooth. Then start to repair.

Unless you're already trained in bodywork, don't try it yourself. It's harder than it looks. You'll actually save money and time--and get better results--if you take the car to a professional to have the work done.

If the vehicle has severe rust or has been in a major accident, you may want to purchase new body panels. You weld them in and use filler to smooth out the surface and then paint. If the damage is not severe, you can use a hammer to knock out the dents then use filler to smooth and repaint.

Depends on where the damage is and how severe. For a front impact damage(S) you should consider purchasing a good body kit and some paint. This is a fairly difficult repair, if you consider yourself a novice i would recommend either consulting your car manual, or seeking the help of a licensed mechanic to-be safe.

The best thing you can do to do body repair is to go to the junk yard and find the same model you have and swap out the parts that you need. You can get the parts of the junker and put them on your car and then have them painted.

Get non OEM parts online or go to a junk yard. Getting a whole piece is better than fixing the one you have because then you just bolt on and paint. It may cost a bit more than fixing the existing piece but will look professional and will save a ton of time and effort.

Put sand all over the whole car to take the place for paint. Apply the fiber glass and sanded down. Always make sure that the fiber glass appears to be smooth. For rust you'll have to purchase a body panel for the car. Weld and smooth it down with fillers, paint and then repair.

Depending on the material of the body of your car and the size of the dent, scratch or damage, purchase the correct tools and materials(filler, new body parts, etc).
