How old do you have to be to move out of your parents' house in Louisiana?

Yet, this is not true. Everyone says that you can move out legally at 18. No. In the state of Louisiana, you can get emancipated at the age of 15, and move out at 17. Call the Police Department, they cannot lie to you.

The age where you can move out of your parent or guardians house or residence is 18, but you can ask the courts at the earliest at 16 to leave.

You must be old enough to work, support yourself and stay in school as required by the law. Talk to your counselors at school.

ok i am 15 and have talked to older guys such as 19 and i love this guy and my dad want let me move in with him he works and every thing. so do i have a right to move out ?
