How often should you apply mometasone furoate cream to a rash?

I have a skin irritation that I was told to use this cream for but do not know how often to use it.

The manufacturer recommends that you apply this topical steroid once per day. They recommend that you only apply a thin film of the mometasone furoate to the affected area, and be sure to massage it in well.

You should apply a thin film of the cream, ointment or lotion to the affected area only once a day, and it should not be continued for more than two weeks without doctors consultation.

You should apply a thin film of the cream, lotion, or ointment to the affected area only once a day, for no more than two weeks without checking with your doctor. Make sure any bandages/coverings are not airtight. As a cortisone-like steroid it may cause serious side effects if used incorrectly such as Cushing's Syndrome.

Mometasone furoate topical cream can generally be applied daily in order to treat skin rashes. Ask your doctor to confirm how often you should apply the cream.

Mometasone furoate cream should be applied once daily for adults. If you miss a dose, apply as soon as possible, or, if it is almost time for the next application, just continue with the next. Do not overdose, as this may lead to problems such as Cushing's syndrome, easy bruising, acne, impotence, and menstruation problems.
