Rubber plants require a well draining but very moist soil. Therefore, it is suggested that you water at least once but possibly twice a week to keep the soil moistened.

The (Ficus Elastica)Rubber Plant does best in well drained soil. On average it should be water once a week. Soil should be keep moist, yet not saturated. The Rubber Plant reacts much the same to over-watering and under-watering the leaves will turn brown and yellow.

Water rubber trees thoroughly, but let the soil dry somewhat between waterings. The soil mix should be a well-drained houseplant mix. Rubber trees prefer humid conditions, but tolerate the dry air in common homes.

Water the rubber plant three times per month. If the leaves begin to droop increase one more time. We can wipe the leaves of house plant with clothes.
