A seven month old baby should be eating 24 to 32 ounceses of breastmilk or formula which is most important. For jarred food, most 7 months old will eat one and a half jars a day for breakfast lunch and dinner. Each baby is different, some are completely not interested in food. While others will eat a lot.

Usually he will eat it until he starts to turn his head or pushing it out of his mouth. A baby usually will eat a jar of it at a meal. It really depends on how hungry the baby may or may not be. I have known some babies to eat the whole thing others will eat only half.

If you are just starting on solids and starting with the smallest jars, you probably will want to prepare about a half a jar to start out. You can warm the food, but this is not necessary. The amount you feed your baby is up to your baby. The baby will turn away, close mouth, and be disinterested when done.
