Ceramic tile, depending on the type can be anywhere from $3-20+. Some types of tile require more work to lay or are a better "type" so they are more expensive.

Ceramic tile can vary in price from as low as $1.00 per square foot to over $20.00 per square foot. Generally, when I am buying ceramic tile for a small area, I look at the "left overs." These are small amounts, very cheap, perhaps 20 square feet or so, that were left over from a previous job.

It all depends on what kind of ceramic tile you are getting. They come in all different sizes and colors and styles and you first need to know this before going any further on a price search. Generally though it is cheaper than say travertine and more durable so it is the affordable route.

The cheapest I've ever seen ceramic floor tile is about a dollar a square foot. The quality was questionable. Remember to factor in adhesive and grout in your project cost.

The cheapest price for ceramic tile is about $2 per square foot. The price can go up to $20 per square foot for more durable tile, especially that which has color all the way through and not just baked into the top layer. Tile with patterns engraved or fired in can be even more expensive.
