In order to get a good estimate of the value, you need to find out where it was made and by whom. There might be a mark on the bottom. If the bottle is one-of-a-kind, it will be worth more than if it's mass produced.

When it was made, and by who, will really determine the value of the bottle. Take it to an antique shop that specializes in glassware, and they may be able to give you some good information about the bottle, and who to contact to get it appraised.

The bottle would need to be over 200 years old, without cracks or chips. The value depends upon who the manufacturer is and the rarity.

What a bottle is worth depends on the type of glass, manufacturer, age and rarity. For a bottle to be worth big money, it usually needs to be 200 years old. There are bottles shaped like grapes being made nowadays in South Africa and Italy. Don't get your hopes up.

An antique bottle or glass is generally priced according to the maker. Also, chips or cracks (condition) in the glass affect value.
