Early models were rated at 135 horsepower and 180 foot pounds of torque, with later models rated at 140 horsepower and 185 foot pounds of torque.

Tragically, it only makes one hundred and forty horsepower. The same as a Chevrolet Camaro with a 3.1 liter V6 of the same year, but also the same as the Chevrolet Cavalier with 3.1 liter V6 of the same year. Engine commonality is awful sometimes.

Two hundred and thirty-two. Thats at the wheels, and thats a stock one out of the factory, under factory specifications. A difference in gas would change the horsepower as well.

The 1991 Firebird 3.1 Liter V-6 has 140 horsepower. Now you know and have fun with all that horsepower dont use it all at once. only four more words DONE

The earlier model used to have 135 horse power but now it has increased to 140 horse power. So it depends on the model you buy.
