Since Windows XP is out of date no new licenses are made. You can still find it for about 99 to 199 dollars through various sites. It will be hard to find in a real life store.

This will vary depending on the version you would like to purchase. A retail version of Windows XP Home will set you back about $80. Windows XP Professional runs about double that cost, $160. There are other options, such as OEM versions which can cut this cost a little.

How much it costs depends on what version you buy. In general, expect it to be a couple hundred dollars. The basic home edition is a lot cheaper than the higher-end or professional editions. Also, as it is an older OS, you may be able to find a cheap used copy on Ebay or a similar site.

Windows costs $117. 49 for Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 and $90 for Windows XP Home. For my money I would buy XP pro. You get a lot more features and it doesn't cost too much more.
