The current stamp cost is 44 cents. But I am sure before to long the post office will want to raise it again. The reason for this they say is because the cost of shipping the mail has increased, but yet the revenue has decreased because everyone is either paying bill or sending messages online now.

At the moment in the United States, stamp costs forty four cents a piece, which is a small raise from the previous postage of forty two cents within the last year. One stamp can be used for up to four pieces of paper. A book of twenty stamps will cost you eight dollars and eighty cents.

Currently in the USA, a first class stamp cost 44 cents. Once purchased, first class stamps are always accepted for postage, even if the postage price rises later.

The average cost of a stamp today is fourty-one cents. The price keep rising due to economical needs. It was only a few years ago that stamps cost thirty-seven cents.

the cost of stamp does depend upon the distance travelled inorder to attach the correct stamp with its cost. generally a ordinary stamp costs 30cents and foreign travel is 50cents.
