If you are going to use bleach, keep rinsing the bottle with hot water until you can no longer smell the bleach.

As far as disinfecting goes, a bottle only needs to be rinsed with a 1/10 bleach water solution to be clean.

If you are talking about a baby bottle I would not use bleach however if you used bleach I would wash it again using some regular dish soap and than rinse until all the soap is out and than I would think that it should be okay after that. But I would wash with something else too.

Rinse a bottle with white vinegar.

If you put warm water and soap to scrub it, then rinse the bottle. Next put the bottle in a pot of water and it will clean the bottle.
