There is no universal amount for all Honda Civic. You need to check you owner's manual or look online to how much you need to add. Otherwise you will add a few quarts, warm the engine, and then add a little at a time as you check the level.

Depending on the model's year and engine type of course. All US model Civics between 2003 and 2005 hold about 3.7 quarts, A 2006-2009 Civic EXCEPT Si holds about 3.9 quarts. The Si version of that holds 4.6 quarts. All models before that will hold between 3.5 and 4 quarts.
