How many Harry Potter novels are there?

I'm not sure if I've read them all.

There are 7 in all: Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets,Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows. There are additional books (Tales of Beedle the Bard, for instance) written by Rowling but they don't advance the plot at all.

There are seven Harry Potter books in total. The series is now complete. The seven books each correspond to a year at Hogwarts for Harry, from when he was 11, until when he is 17. J. K. Rawling has no plans to make any more Harry Potter books in the series.
