How long was Bill Clinton governor?

Bill Clinton was an Arkansas governor for ten years. In 1978, 1982, and 1984 he served three two year terms. He had two four year terms in 1986 and 1990. In 1992 he won the presidential election which meant he only served as governor for two years of that term.

He served more than one term as governor. He was first elected in 1978, served full term, but lost his bed for reelection. He ran again in 1982, and won his governship back and served a seconf full term.
