It depends on how fast you are capable of running. A good, easy pace would be five miles per hour. At five miles per hour, you would run a mile in 12 minutes. As your stimina increases, you can increase your speed and reduce your time.

It depends on the kind of workout you're looking for. A four minute mile is amazing, an eight minute mile is a moderate workout.

World class runners can run a mile in less than 4 minutes. For runners starting out try to get your time under 8 minutes and then improve from there.

It depends on how fast you want to run the mile. A fast mile time would be around 5 to 5 and a half minutes. While an average mile time would be around 7 to 8 minutes.

The time it takes to run a mile will vary based on a person's general fitness level. Some consider anything faster than a 10 minute mile as running.
