it depends on the time signature and the beats per minute(bpm). time signature is the number of beats over the number of times repeated. for example, a bar of music in 4/4 time signature is four beats repeated four times. bpm is how many beats per minute. so 4/4 time over 16 bars at 120 bpm is over 2 minutes.

In musical pieces with a 4/4 time signature, it is 64 beats. If it's in 3/4 time, it's 48 beats. Generally,4/4 time is universal/ common time in standard musical pieces.
