How long does shower grout take to dry?

I remember when my husband redo the bathroom, HomeDepot told him the shower grout takes like 10 days to dry! Since we have only 1 bathroom, we used a small heater to speed the drying and used the shower after 24 hrs. It has been over 10 years.

Consult the packaging to see how long the manufacturer says it should take. It will depend on the ambient humidity as well as the temperature.
