A lot depends on you current body fat. The magic number is 9. 5 body fat in order for six-pack abs to be visible. With exercise and a strict diet, you can lose 1% body fat over a two week period. Check your body fat and figure it out from there.

Usually about six weeks with cardio, fat burning work and core concentration (holding in the stomach while doing another exercise).

"Ripped Abs" is mostly an issue of diet rather than exercise. Most people have defined abs under their healthy belly fat, but in order to see them, one must have usually less than 10% body fat, which is an unhealthy level. A diet of extremely low fat and extremely low calories will provide this over time, depending on weight

Depends on how fit you are to begin with. if you are very fit you can step up your workouts, change your eating habits and possibly get ripped anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. If you aren't very fit it can take a while, but remember NUTRITION is KEY

Time vary - according to what your doing to get ripped abs, the present day condition of your body, etc. A few months is a good amount of time, though.
