How hard is it to get a CDL?

Almost every state in the U.S. requires a separate driving test as well as exam for your CDL. The CDL written exam test such things as placarding,weight distribution, and there is math involved. If you feel that you can handle the things mentioned and you are a good driver you should be okay.

If you have a driver's license, it's not that hard. You will need to pass a written test, take a physical exam signed off on by your doctor, pass a driving test in a large truck, and pay the application fees. With some common sense, you should get a CDL in no time.
