It is a hormone replacement patch and you just stick it to your skin and the hormone filters in through the skin and does it's job for you.

Vivelle dot patch contains estradiol which is multipolymeric adhesive. The system is arranged to give continues estradiol through the intact skin. Yes it is good but may cause endometrial cancer,cardiovascular and other risks if low dose not used.
