How does the guy who drives the snow plough get to his work?

He keeps his snow plow parked in his driveway at home, facing out, so that when the snow falls he can just jump in and drive away. Many snow plow drivers do this. Otherwise, they could use a snowmobile, I suppose, to get to work. Or, they could shovel their way to work.

According to a commercial that ran several years ago, he drives an ever-reliable Volkswagen Beetle.

First off, it's snow PLOW, now "plough". The guy who drives the snow plow must drive it to his own home at the end of each day, and start his day from his own home.
