There is no single known cause for Leukemia. However, certain cancers can be associated with exposure to radiation, with Leukemia no exception. As well as this, there may be a genetic link to developing the disorder. There are almost certainly a huge number of factors that lead to development of this condition, rather than one particular cause.

Abnormal proliferation of blood cells leads to Leukemia. It affects the bone marrow and leads to nullify the antibodies in the blood stream the might leads to invade antigens. Higher number of immature white blood cell leads to lack in blood platelets which are important in blood clotting.

Leukemia is caused by a blood/bone cell mutation, it is not something you can catch from someone else, it is just something that occurs.

You should ask your doctor that question, the doctor will be able to tell you more about it. That is what doctors are there for. Or you can check online.
