How does Nature's Recipe dog food compare to the major brands?

That brand of dog food is reliable, but so are a lot of other brands like "Science Diet" and even "Pedigree," which can actually be found in many drugstores. By the way, be careful when switching your dog's food in general because dogs are very habitual.

It has been claimed for over 20 years that Nature's Recipe is the best dog food. Both veterinarians and pet nutritionists agree to this. The food is superior because it has unique proteins found in such meats as lamb, venison, and buffalo among others. The ingrediants are of human grade also.

Natures recipe is an excellent dog food. As a rule of thumb when choosing dog foods look at the ingredients. If the first ingredient is a by-product don't buy it.
