Braille is a series of raised dots that represent letters. One simply has to memorize which set of raised dots represents which letter, and be able to distinguish them by touch.

Braille reading is when a blind person can read by running their hands over a book or work that is written with a series of bumps on the page. Each series of bumps represents a word or letter of the alphabet. Blind people are taught to read braille the same way we are taught to read. They use their hands.
