Bevel angle at 33.85 degrees. Angle of saw at 31.62 degrees to right of saw. Place molding face side up, waste end facing right. Make cut. Inside piece "A". Reposition angle to 31.62 degrees to left of saw. Bevel at 33.85. Molding bottom against table fence, waste right. Cut "B".

This can be tricky. This is all relied upon by the angle of your saw and how you have the miter set up. The best angle to use is 31.62 to 33.85 degrees; this creates a slick bevel cut.

Crown molding is usually cut at 45 degrees. Since it is cut upsie down, it is easy to make the cut wrong. Cut two short pieces, left and right angles. Put them in place, put the one you need on the miter saw/miter box to see which cut you need.

Imagine the base of the miter saw as being the ceiling and the fence as being the wall. Position your crown as you would for the ceiling/wall and make the cut.
