Fences and small flags are great ways to scare and prevent them from coming in but if there is food (small animals). Fences can be dug. There are some sprays that can help that are sold in stores.

The only option you have is to call your local Department of Natural Resources. In most states it's illegal for you to shoot it yourself. If you call the DNR they will come out and set a trap and then move the Coyote elsewhere.
